Bought this game as a gift and it's truly worth every penny! The colors in this game alone are pretty awesome! Rayman is back in 2d and looks better than ever and it doesn't have any of those annoying, freak rabbids that everyone hates! IGN gave this game a 9.5 and I can truly second that. You, or your kids will love it!

I haven't had this much fun with a co-op platformer since Donkey Kong Country Returns or Super Mario Wii. My fiance and I are going to be spending many hours enjoying this one!

FWIW I'm between 35 and 45. I love modern and retro gaming and still play old classics like Galaga frequently. I point that out because this game seems to want to be a throwback to that genre. The graphics and user control are excellent. The music is OK but somewhat repetitive. The game play falls a bit flat for me. It's a little fun and has some humor to it but for the most part feels like you're playing on rails. I don't see much challenge in Rayman Origins. I have a policy of playing all games I buy through until the end but this one has been relegated to a mindless time killer game such as when I'm waiting on a phone call or whatever. It's the type of game to play when you're trying to pass 20 minutes or so and don't care if you get interrupted much like Solitare or Mahjongg. My feeling is this game is going to be best enjoyed by those 13 and younger.
